Who Are Ms Zink and the Canyon Springs Art Club?

Elvira Zink is a Visual Arts Teacher and head of the Canyon Springs Art club. She started it 4 years ago when a student came to her looking to start a club to give students a new opportunity to express their creativity. Elvira embraced the idea on the condition that the club be a place of productive creative expression and "not just another group that hangs around". With that they have grown to roughly 20 members of students who get to participate in a variety of activities. They also go to many local events with their face painting booth in order to raise money for Club activities such as Universal Studios and Medieval Times. Many have never had the opportunity to experience activities like this and the students are happy to earn money using their creative skills.
